On going Projects

TradeAID Integrated has one programme approach which emphasizeon enterprise development as a method of achieving sustainable livelihood for the poor. This approach is base on our philosophy and our believe in the power of the entrepreneurshipin creating wealth. The focus on enterprise development willencompass four components mutually re-enforcing each other. These four components are; Market Access, Business Services,Financial Services and Business Advocacy.

Livestock Enterprise Project:

Here poor productive persons either in groups or as individuals are assisted to put up livestock enterprises. The focus is on women. Project was started with funding from OXFAM GB.

Farmers Inputs supply Scheme:

Initial funded by Oxfam GB. The project supply farmers with inputs such as donkeys and carts, Bullocks and Plough etc.

Bolgatanga Basket Weavers Fair Trade Programme:

This programme has three main components namely; gift of hope which aims at selling straw baskets of women groups, Capacity building in the area of skills improvement and provision of craft centres for weavers groups. The programme has been running since the inception of TradeAID.

Capacity building is another important component of this programme. TradeAID is engaged in a couple of capacity building programmes with baskets.

Sustainable Credit for Business:

This is basically a micro credit programme which aims at supporting entrepreneurs and business association with credit. The programme has four main product lines namely; Business Booster, Smart Credit, Groups Loans and Special Loans.
